EQUIPMENT

A jersey, hat and jacket will be provided for each player. The jersey and jacket must be returned at the end of the season. Players are responsible for providing the following:

Required:

• Black Baseball Pants
• Protective Cup Athletic Supporter
• Socks
• Baseball Glove
• Heart Guard (required for all Widget pitchers)

Recommended:

• Rubber Spikes (soccer shoes are fine, no metal cleats)
• Sliding Pants
• Mouth Guard

EXPECTATIONS

• We will keep in touch primarily by email, and this online team bulletin board (blog).
• Please check here, as well as your email for weather related cancellations.
• Cancellations will be posted here by 3:00 pm.
• If you receive a “rain out” communication by email, please let your coach know you received it by sending a short reply such as "O.K." or “thanks” so he doesn't continue trying to reach you.
• Siblings attending practices must have adult supervision.
• If you are running late or can’t make it to a game please call to inform your coach so he can adjust the lineup card for the scorekeepers.
• If you plan to play in the game, plan on being at practice during the week.
• Homework takes priority. Crusaders are student athletes. Talk to your coach if you're having trouble balancing school work and baseball.
