ST. VINCENT de PAUL VARSITY WINS THE CSAL DIVISION ONE CHAMPIONSHIP!

They did it!  They did it!!  A phrase so nice, we said it twice!

The St. Vincent de Paul Varsity Crusaders took the CSAL Division One Championship this evening with a 6-2 win over St. Thomas Moore at Brent Mayne Field.

The dynamic duo, Willie H. and Alec A. handled the pitching duties with 13 strikeouts, while the offense provided eight timely hits and exercised their usual prowess on the base paths. Nicely done!

Congratulations Crusaders! You're the tops!

Tonight, it was a pitcher's duel with plenty of frustration- offensive fits and starts, errors and stranded baserunners. But in the end it was a clutch hit, like a purple light saber courtesy of Joey R. that boosted the Crusaders over St. Thomas Moore 3-2 .
