The Chicago Kid went the distance today striking out 7 of 16 batters, holding the talented Grizzlies to a single run.
Crusader bats were cracking too. The General got things rolling with a lead off home run, and your Crusaders managed nine more hits, two for extra bases by the same underclassman! Defense didn't disappoint, and as usual, the basepaths were on fire.
Get some dinner, and get some rest because we're back at it 10:00 AM tomorrow at Fishack Field at Congress Park. We square off against the sluggers from All Souls.
Please be at the field between 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM if possible.
