Pitchers and Catchers
Preseason workouts for pitchers and catchers will begin mid to late Feburuary in the SVdP gym. Schedules will be posted after completion of basketball tournaments.

SVdP Widget Baseball- 3rd and 4th Grades
SVdP Baseball offers 3rd and 4th graders the opportunity to participate in the St. Bernadette Instructional Baseball League. This is a "kid pitch" league that is a great environment for learning the game and developing baseball skills.
Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays between 3:30 pm and 5:00 at John Paul II Center located at Steele and Arizona Streets. Games are played on weekends at St. Bernadettes School, 1100 Upham Street in Lakewood. The game schedules for this season have yet to be determined.

SVdP JV and Varsity Baseball
SVdP JV and Varsity Baseball teams compete in the Catholic Schools Athletic League (http://www.csalkids1st.org/).
The JV team is open to students in the 5th and 6th grade. Varsity is open to 7th and 8th grade students.
One hour and thirty minute practices will be held twice weekly at Crestmoor Park between the hours of 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm. Practices will begin the week of Monday, March 1oth.
Game schedules have yet to be determined, however, the first game of the 2007 season was played March 18th.
Away games will be played at schools around the league. The SVdP home field is Congress Park #2 located at 8th and Josephine.

SVdP BOYS SPRING BASEBALL SIGN-UP
It’s that time of year again to start getting organized for SVdP BOYS SPRING BASEBALL!
Practices will begin early March at a date and time to be determined.
Game schedules will be determined in early March, but the season runs from mid-March through early May. The post-season tournament will be completed by the middle of May.
Registration fee is $70.00 per student. In addition, each student must have a baseball glove and a pair of BLACK baseball pants that can be obtained at any local sporting goods store. All other equipment, uniform jerseys, hat, and a warm-up jacket will be provided.
Registration sheets will be sent home with your child the first week of February.
Parents are encouraged to sign up for coaching. Multiple coaches help to maximize the fun and effectiveness of practice sessions!
